About the Game
Luigi's Mansion is an action-adventure game that places Mario's younger brother Luigi in the spotlight for the first time as a lead character on a Nintendo console. Armed with only a flashlight and Professor E. The game blends atmospheric exploration with creative puzzle-solving and ghost-capturing mechanics. Players stun ghosts with the flashlight's beam, then vacuum them up using the Poltergust 3000. Throughout the adventure, Luigi gains special power-ups allowing him to capture ghosts with different elemental properties. With the help of the Game Boy "Horror"—a portable device showing mansion maps and item information—Luigi progresses through four distinct areas filled with imaginative ghostly encounters, from portrait ghosts with unique personalities to powerful boss spirits.
