The Train Chase is On! BNSF and OmniTRAX's Illinois Railway (and Street-Running in Yorkville)

Описание: We actually went to Aurora planning to catch a train or two either downtown or at Eola Yard. While planning out a strategy, I happened to see a slow-moving freight that had exited Eola and was heading west. From a distance it appeared that behind its BNSF lead power, it had a blue locomotive that I have seen before with an OmniTRAX / Illinois Railway logo. Had I just (finally) caught an Illinois Railway train leaving the yard and heading southwest to where their shortline branches off from the BNSF main line? Yep. We barely caught it the first time and then relocated to Yorkville, 12 miles down the road, so we could get ahead of if and watch it come through on Hydraulic Street, where it street-runs for a short distance.
