In the third chapter of "Echoes from the Salt and Steel," we descend from the cliffs into the heart of the abandoned harbour. Here, the sea fog is so thick it swallows everything - light, shape, and sound.
This track is a deep dive into coastal ambient. Rhythms are dissolved into a soup of massive reverb. Deep drones create a wall of mist, pierced only by the ghostly, muffled clangs of rusting cranes and the haunting sustain of an E-bow guitar. It is the sound of being completely enveloped by the white void of the waterfront.
