Voice Masculinization | Practicing Dark Resonance With Singing

Описание: One thing that can help your voice sound more masculine regardless of pitch is dark resonance. If you're struggling to figure out how to darken the resonance of your speech, don't worry—singing can help! In this video, I explain how to produce a darker sound (with musical demonstrations!), compare and contrast bright vs. dark resonance, and share some examples of singers to study as you practice.

(Disclaimer: I do NOT subscribe to the idea that a masculine-sounding voice is necessary for transmasculine people. Everyone deserves to have their gender respected regardless of what their voice sounds like. The purpose of this is simply to share what I've learned about masculinizing my own voice in case it might help someone else.)
