Taxila is a place in Pakistan which has many archaeological sites which were excavated before the partition of sub continent by Sir John Marshall.
One of this site is Sirkap which is situated few kilometers from Taxila city and the museum. You can visit it and find the ruins of a very well planned city. The legend said that it was destroyed multiple times because of flooding and earthquake.
