Hunstanton 1957/8

Next is Nora Harris, Walter’s partner, Nora’s daughter Megan, Nora’s son in law Dennis and their children, Richard and Elizabeth.

This group is shown in the Old Hunstanton sand dunes, in front of beach huts. The children, Elizabeth and Richard on rides situated the promenade with Seagate Road behind. The view moves to the promenade boating lake, again with Seagate Road behind, and people walking on the promenade. Nora Harris, wearing a light coloured coat over darker clothing, is seen walking with a boy beside the boating lake towards the camera. The view returns to the cliff gardens and cliff parade. Donkey rides on Hunstanton beach, usually in front of the boating lake. Nora Harris walking with her daughter Megan in front of the cliffs and then moving to the promenade between the cliffs and the pier. The view then moves to The Green and Upper Green showing the Golden Lion Hotel and the Town Hall to the right of the hotel. The view moves to the other buildings bordering The Green before finishing on the area of The Green in front of the pier.
