Hey everyone! Today we are going to talk about one of the biggest secrets about the Akorn Auto Kamado. Well, it's at least one of the most over looked things and that is cleaning out the top vent. Because of how choked down we can make this smoker perform for low and slow activities, a lot of greasy smoke and steam can build up in the track that the top vent slides in. When it gets cold it can really make it difficult to spin the track. Knowing that I really recommend that at least once a year we take the top vent off and give it a good cleaning.
