Aladdin for the SEGA Master System Stage 7:Showdown with Jafar. This is the only boss battle in the game, and actually the only part where you use a sword as a weapon. It's actually a climatic finale, and closely follows the animated film for the most part. Don't worry about Princess Jasmine in the hourglass, as this stage is not under a time limit. This is a two-part boss battle with no health pick-ups. Thankfully, Aladdin on the Master System has no lives counter, so you can simply retry until you beat it.

The first part sees Aladdin get the sword floating in the middle of the battle arena. Simply walk under it to make it fall down, but be careful not to stand under it, as it's an instant kill. Jafar will shoot fire in the position you were previous standing. The far-left of the screen is a safe spot, but time your jump and swing at Jafar. It only takes one hit on Jafar, so swinging repeatedly does nothing else.

The second part sees Jafar transforms into a giant cobra, and is much more threatening. Aladdin must hit Jafar eight times so he falls off the balcony. Jafar can still shoot fire, but now has a bouncing fireball attack. Wait for that attack and swing away at Jafar. You can easily get three hits in Jafar, who will push you back with his tail with each hit. This however does not harm you. After enough hits, Jafar will also do a fire attack on the ground, but this is the easiest to avoid. The key is getting multiple hits in when you can, as his attacks become more random the longer it takes.

After 'defeating' Jafar, a cutscene plays where he traps Aladdin. The rest of these cutscenes play out very similar to the animated film. Aladdin taunts Jafar and tricks him into his final wish: to become a genie. This of course backfires, and traps himself into his own evil lamp, ending the game. Aladdin frees Genie with his final wish, wins Princess Jasmine's heart for real, and cue the end credits after a final cutscene.
