보이트 도메스틱 코너 혼(Voigt Domestic Corner Horn)은 보이트(Voigt)에 의해 1934년 영국에서 처음 소개되었습니다. 보이트와 로더(Lowther)의 협업으로 1950년대 초반까지 생산했습니다. 이 제품이 출시되었을 때 고품질 사운드로 굉장한 인기를 끌었습니다. 고성능 음질은 그 당시 센세이션을 일으키며 하이파이브 장비 최상급 음질의 혁명이 시작되었습니다. 보이트의 연구로 디자인은 향상되었으며 사용된 고급 재료와 작업에 들이는 공으로 제품의 가격은 매우 비쌌습니다. 캐비닛 디자인의 복합성으로 설계도는 존재하지 않으며 오직 330개 정도만 생산되었습니다. 완벽한 음향 사운드를 추구하며 많은 성공적인 유산을 남긴 보이트는 1950년 캐나다로 이주하여 1981년 사망하였습니다. 2차 세계대전 이후 로더사는 수석 엔지니어 도날드 차브(Donald Chave)가 인수하여 현재까지도 최상의 품질을 가진 드라이브 유닛과 스피커를 만들고 있습니다.

Voigt Domestic Corner Horns with Lowther rebuilt Voight Field Coil drivers

The Voigt Domestic Corner Horn was first introduced in 1934 and was still being manufactured under license by Lowther into the early 1950's. When partnered with the Voigt mains energised drive unit, the Domestic Corner Horn caused a sensation when it made its debut. The quality of sound and high efficiency eclipsed everything else on the market at that time.
The design was constantly being improved by Voigt over its long production. Due to the materials used and labour involved, these cabinets were not cheap to manufacture. They were originally available in unfinished white wood at £17-5s-d or in other veneered and stained finshes on request. A de-luxe walnut veneered version was also available at a higher price.
No blue-print was ever available because of the complexity of the cabinet's design. It is thought that around only 330 Voigt Domestic Corner Horns were ever manufactured.
