Off the Grid in the Scottish Highlands: 2 Nights of Wild Camping, Hiking, and Fire-Making

Описание: Join me on an unforgettable adventure into the remote Scottish highlands, as we head to Glen Affric for two nights of wild camping in wintery conditions. With snow thawing out, the rivers, streams, and waterways were swollen, making the entire landscape extremely wet and challenging.

We struggled to get a fire going, and sourcing dry wood became almost the entire goal of our trip. But despite the challenges, we wild camped, cooked gorgeous food over the fire, hung out under the tarp, and shared a tent at night.

Our hikes through the stunning Scottish landscape were breathtaking, and we even braved a bit of wild swimming (in a swamp!) with water temperatures barely reaching 4.4°C. It was an unforgettable experience that I'm excited to share with you in this video.

From sourcing dry wood to braving the cold water, this trip was full of challenges and adventures that tested our limits and pushed us out of our comfort zones. But the stunning beauty of the Scottish highlands made it all worth it.
