Neel Fairy Meadows lies in the foothills of Bedori Top and has become a popular tourist destination now. It is easily accessible through a metal road from Islamabad and Muzaffarabad. Tourists can enjoy the serenity of this picturesque and panoramic place. The mystic charm of the valley mesmerises the tourists. This land is fertile and produces almost all kinds of fruits, crops, dry fruits, nuts and pure honey.

Neel Fairy derived from the water lilies or Neelofer, which are found abundantly around the lake. People cook the flowers as a vegetable. The height of the lake is about 9,200 feet above sea level. Its water source is rain. You can see a lot of flowers lie over the lush green meadows.

Haveli is nearly 200 kilometres (124 miles) from Muzaffarabad. It was a part of District Bagh but in July, 2009 it became the tenth District of Kashmir.

Neel Fairy Meadows is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Haveli which covers an area of 598 square kilometres (230.89 square miles). Haveli, Mumtazabad and Khurshidabad are subdivisions of the district. The people are brave and diligent. Major segment of the population is expatriates in the Middle East and Europe.
