The beautiful singer from Canada in a Jim Croce s tune named Time In A Bottle (1972) ...
She channels the spirit of Anne Murray and sings tales of Springhill. She grew up in Alberton, just outside Hamilton, Ontario, and at a tender age, she recorded two albums in 1974-75, including "Country Downs." Then, she resurfaced in 1983 with the remarkable funk track "You Got Your Magic Working," which she released independently. After that, she seemed to vanish, until she made a cameo in a Country Music International article in June 1996, titled "Cathie Stewart - Whatever Happened to…". It turns out she and her husband Brian sought refuge in the pristine air of Whitehorse, Yukon.
