Robert, who has never been published before, submitted his dark comedy The King of Spain and topped the leaderboard with an impressive 4.8 overall rating. The King of Spain is a gripping story set in the future. It sees retirement home worker Sam arrive at the eerie Edge Hill, an institution where cosmetic technology means residents appear to be in their twenties despite long ago passing their century. Nothing too wrong with that, Sam supposes, until a geriatric stampede sets off a mind-blowing sequence of events that threatens to alter his life for ever.
