A mini documentary I created with Sheffield based Woodturner Paul Hilton-Tapp.
Paul creates wooden bowls from a single piece of tree using only a lathe. Inspired by the shapes and textures of the wood he finds, each piece is wildly unique and often makes highlight of the imperfections; cracks, knots, splits and even spalted fungus.
