In this talk, Mr Arun Wakhlu shares how the uniqueness and compassion residing in each individual can grow into a force capable of making lasting connections with each other and our surroundings, thereby transforming the world. Arun Wakhlu, is the Founder of Pragati Leadership Institute, Pune, India . He is also the Chairman of Pragati Foundation, an NGO dedicated to unfolding Joy, Peace and Abundance for all, and is also the initiator of the Foundation for Peace and Compassionate Leadership.
He has logged over 36,000 hours of facilitation, coaching and developing leaders in leading organizations (Business, Education, NGOs and Governments).
An accomplished writer, Arun has written the award winning book “Managing from the Heart”. His latest books are “One Wholesome World” , "The Book of Compassion" (MSS Stage) written with two Nobel Peace Laureates : HH The Dalai Lama and Kailash Satyarthi, and “Awakening Wholeness” for the youth of the world.
Arun is a Member of the Global Board of the Charter for Compassion and has also initiated the movement called Education Today, Society Tomorrow (ETST). He has been an active contributor to developing Leaders in Education to for over 40 years.
