We all grew up with Fantastical stories and folklore, only to discover the real world isn’t as exciting and monsters are not real. Let’s give our skepticism a dose of reality and take a look at supposedly mythical creatures that actually existed, or that have had real world equivalents.
If you are a fan of the X-Files, much as I was and still am (geek moment!), you either loved or hated the Monster of the Week episodes. Some of them were interesting while others were just dull. You would never think that there really does exist a Chupacabra (one of my favorite episodes) that drains the blood of your livestock! Come on! Get real, buddy!

What if I told you that much like reptiles being the ancestors of dinosaurs, dragons were also part of the evolutionary seed of our cold blooded friends?
Fan of J.R. Tolkien's, Lord of The Rings books? If so, can you imagine a world with real life hobbits? So can I, but for those of you who can't, guess what? THEY EXISTED! Archaeologists have found skeletal remains that prove that at one point, hobbit like men walked this earth (or Middle Earth).
For the guys out there who like a take charge, buffed, stand behind me while I take on these muggers, Wonder Woman type or just your regular comic book geek who won't settle down unless that special gal just happens to be Diana Prince...I have good news for you too!
