JJ Richards Iveco FL (Recycle Run)

Описание: Already been a couple of years since the last JJ Richards front lift went up on here, so we’ve got another one appearing in this video, but a bit of an older unit compared to the latest. In 2012 I was out and about in the western suburbs one morning on the lookout for garbage trucks and spent some time in the Milperra/Revesby industrial area. Old #0301 showed up and jetted past me at one point, prompting me to follow and happily catch 5 pickups on video. Instead of general waste I actually stumbled upon this green monster knocking over some cardboard recycling jobs, a task usually spread out, but luckily there was a decent amount to do in close proximity. Ages ago I uploaded a couple of very poor clips of an old dedicated cardboard front lift JJ Richards used to have going in Sydney - an unmistakable yellow beast on top of a 1990s Volvo.

The very first Richards front loader I uploaded right near the beginning of this channel was a 2003 model just like this one, only featuring an alternate paint scheme, but JJR seemed to have quite a few of them getting around. I’m glad the opportunity arose to grab another one of these oldies in front of the camera, none of which I believe work in Sydney anymore, this particular truck may well have been the last one running around too. Today a number of brand new trucks have been hitting the streets to manage the front lift operations, including some modern ACCOs and the most recent being a DAF, then the oldest ones are a few Scanias that are also about due for upgrade soon. Thanks heaps to the champion bloke steering this truck, always checked to make sure I was recording, really made this normally challenging achievement quite easy for me.
