Today's stroll features the oldest part of London – which is called the City or the Square Mile. The stroll starts from Aldgate and finishes outside of Bank Station.

⁉️TRIVIA: In contrary to what many people believe, the City of London is not part of London. It's sometimes referred to as the 'Square Mile' or the 'City'. It functions independently and has a separate governing bodies and even its own mayor - interesting, it’s like a Secret City 🤫! They even have their own police force policing the Square Mile since 1839. This force is separate from Greater London's Metropolitan police. 👍
