‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield has hit out at CBS Morning’s co-host Gayle King for defending Justin Timberlake after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons earlier this week.
“I have a lot of sympathy for him but I can’t understand Gayle King going on TV defending somebody driving while under the influence,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Yes I loved this guy while growing up, but you should never get behind the wheel of a car after consuming alcohol," she said.
According to reports Timberlake claimed to have had one martini and was following friends home.
After being arrested and taken to East Hampton police station, he refused a breath test and was later released without bond.
His next court date is scheduled for July 26.
