Empathy = the act of being aware and sensitive to the feelings and experiences of another.
In other words, putting yourself in someone else's shoes. When patients and guests enter our doors, we don't always know their full story. But, it's in the best interest of others for us to stop and listen in order to show empathy. Doing so will go a long way in ensuring our patients receive excellent care, every day.
We're pleased to share this video aimed at inspiring the use of empathy with those you come in contact with. We're putting empathy to work with our patients, guests and co-workers.
