I've been watching Five Nights At Freddy's content for several years now – game theory, game theorist, team theorists, film theory, matpat, matthew patrick, stephanie patrick, matpat & steph – pardon my SEO, and find the lore of Five Nights at freddy's super interesting.

The games themselves (FNAF 1, FNAF 2, FNAF 3, FNAF 4, SISTER LOCATION, FNAF 6, PIZZERIA SIMULATOR, FNAF VR, FNAF HELP WANTED, FNAF SECURITY BREACH) are a deep dark cave system of valuable lore, pun very much intended, that I currently do not posses the skills to mine by myself.

The lore in these mines are also wily and changeable, like ENNARD , Idk man I'm just trying to figure out a clever way to include SEO terms lol

BASICALLY I decided that a good starting point for someone bad at video games is reading the books based on these video games, and I'm starting with the very first FNAF books: The Silver Eyes Trilogy. This is:

Overall, I was surprised and pleased with these books, they were fun, engaging, had good mystery and atmosphere, and good main characters. Charlie was an excellent protagonist, and William Afton an excellent villain. Reading these books truly did help me understand some of the concepts I was confused about, so I wanted to break down the trilogy for anyone interested in getting some of the details of the story and how they support game lore (to the best that I'm able to connect them(.

I was originally intending that this would be a multi-hour video essay, but time got away from me yet again, despite my best efforts, so I'll get to the other books soon.
