Hi I'm Mara! I am the Director of Advancement Services and Communications for West Virginia State University. I am Blackbaud Certified on the Fundamentals level, which has aided greatly with my every day responsibilities. I am the only database administrator for the WVSU Foundation, so I use Blackbaud products all day, every day. My video application goes into why I feel it is important for me to attend BBCON2019, and why only through a scholarship it would be possible, but below is a little more information on me:

Former Communications Intern for the American Heart Association
Former Junior Board Member for the West Virginia Alzheimer's Association with responsibilities focusing on digital marketing and public relations
