1) Antivirus apps
avoid especially those from unknown developers, these usually have malware
riddled with ads
does not really do anything related to malware removal
worst part is, it consumes a lot of processing power of your chipset.
Google Play Protect, and security updates/patch is good enough
don't install or at least minimize installation of apps and games outside of play store.
99% of the time, an app or game is already scanned by Play Store before they are published inside the plaform.

2) Some Android System Apps

3) Weather apps
it uses GPS, a bit of processing power, RAm, and battery
some even have ads

4) Defragmentation apps
Defragging files are great for harddrives but there are no hard drives on smartphones. There are only flash memories and SSD-like memory like UFS storage.

5) RAM expander
these are scams
Roehsoft can damage your microSD and even system partition

6) Media Players
Most media players in Play Store are ad infested
use your built-in media players
or use VLC and AIMP
or feel free to suggest other media players without ads

7) WiFi apps
your phone has a built-in wifi app feature
Most WiFi apps just steal your data, does not work, or do the same thing your built-in wifi app does.
there are only a few WiFi hacking apps that worked for me in the past, the rest are scams
avoid master wifi key
smart free wifi
free wifi pro

NOTE:
if some of these apps are already pre-installed on your phone, try to uninstall or disable it.
if it is unremovable, force stop the app instead and remove all Permission access.
or you can just use it and hope that it works.
