Hari-bhakti-viläsa 11.451
madhura-madhuram etan mangalam mangalanam
sakala-nigama-valli-sat-phalam cit-svarupam
sakrid api parigitam sraddhaya helaya va
bhrigu-vara nara-matram tarayet krishna-nama
Of sweet things, it’s the sweetest you will taste at any time;
Of things that bring good fortune, it’s the perfect paradigm;
Of all the Vedic teachings, it’s the transcendental fruit,
The very form of spirit, unalloyed and absolute.
When spoken even once with faith, or spoken once with none,
From birth and death it surely will deliver anyone.
And in the end it gives pure love for Krsna, life’s true aim.
So cast away all doubts and chant Sri Krsna's Holy Name.

Paean to Prabhupada by HG Dravida Dasa
O Prabhupäda, we hail the day
When you appeared, just like a ray
Of Krsna’s vast effulgence bright,
To give this blind world back its sight.
We thank you from the bottom of
Our heart, and pray with deepest love
That we may serve your lotus feet
In every circumstance we meet.
As years go by and books go out,
We see what life is all about:
To serve your mission, and our Lord’s,
By spreading wide your sacred words.
As well you want us all to strive
To let those words direct our lives.
This safest path will lead us Home,
No more in Mäyä’s realm to roam.

CC Antya 3.181 and purport by Haridasa Thakura
aṁhaḥ saṁharad akhilaṁ sakṛd udayād eva sakala-lokasya
taraṇir iva timira-jaladhiṁ jayati jagan-maṅgalaṁ harer nāma
When the moon is invisible, withered to nil, and the sun is long gone
from the sky,
Then an ocean of darkness envelops this world and the timorous
fear they might die.
But that thick pall of gloom is at once swept away when the first
signs of sunrise appear,
And the dawning of day gives assurance to all that in truth there is
nothing to fear.
In a similar way, when illusion holds sway and a soul has forgotten
his Lord,
Then the darkness of ignorance covers his heart—sin and suffering
are his reward.
But as soon as he says Krsna’s Name even once, in a manner that
doesn’t offend,
Then his ignorance flees like the darkness at dawn and his sin and
his suffering end.
So there’s nothing to fear, for the Sun of the Name has appeared
with His powers divine.
In your heart may that Sun, benedictive for all, become fixed and
eternally shine!

Stavavali, by Sri Raghunatha Dasa Goswami
rādheti nāma nava-sundara-sīdhu-mugdhaṁ
kṛṣṇeti nāma madhurādbhuta-gāḍha-dugdham |
sarva-kṣaṇaṁ surabhi-rāga-himena ramyaṁ
kṛtvā tadaiva piba me rasane kṣud-ārte || 10 ||
An excellent fresh nectar drink with endless subtle tastes—
Such is the name of Rädhä, by whom all three worlds are graced.
Condensed milk that is wonderfully delicious—thick and sweet—
Such is the name of Krsna, in whom all attractions meet.
Now mix these drinks, O thirsty tongue, and add the cooling spice
Of love, a prize the wise will try to buy at any price.
And then at every moment drink this beverage most fine,
And make my heart supremely blissful, peaceful, and divine.

Srila Rüpa Goswami’s Stavamälä
urasi-parisphurad-indiram indindira-mandira-srajollasitam
harim aìganätimaìgalam aìga-lasac-candanaà vande
Upon His chest is manifest the mark of Goddess Sri,
And there too rests the best of wreaths, a temple for the bees,
Who worship Him by singing hymns that limn His loving play,
While Sri Hari most gleefully acclaims the way they pray.
For Vraja’s love-mad milkmaids and for all the brähman's wives,
Sri Krsna is the ultimate good fortune in their lives.
His sandal-paste-anointed limbs bedim the full moon’s glow.
Unto the lotus feet of Sri Hari I bow down low.
