Crumbl Cookie Lemonade Copycat Recipe

Описание: This Crumbl Cookie Lemonade Copycat Recipe is AMAZING! It turned out so good! I'm so happy I was able to re-create it! By the way, using this recipe, you can make 8 large cookies the size of a crumble cookie.

2 ½ c. flour (plus approx. ¼ c. – in a separate bowl for later)
½ tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Mix and set aside.

In a separate bowl:
¾ c. softened butter
¼ c, softened cream cheese
1 ¼ c. sugar
Cream together, then add in:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Zest from 2 lemons (approx. 2 tbls)
2 tbls lemon juice (approx. juice from 1 lemon)
Add in the flour mixture a 3rd at a time and mix well.
Place in refrigerator for at least 3 minutes to allow the dough to firm up

If the dough is still a little sticky, add in a little flour at a time (this is where the ¼ c. flour comes in).

Roll out the dough into balls and flatten to desired thickness as these do not spread too much. 

Bake at 325° F for 22 minutes (monitor cooking as this depends on your oven)

Frosting:
½ c. softened butter
2 ¼ c. powdered sugar
Cream together, then add in:
1 tsp lemon zest
Lemon juice from ½ lemon
2 tsp heavy whipping cream

If you want that extra lemony zing, add a few drops of lemon extract.
Mix well and chill until cookies have cooled.  
Frost cookies and enjoy 🥰
