Darjeeling & Kurseong Tour (Part - I) |Tindharay, Hanuman Top, Sylvan Homestay (Way to Reach)

Описание: This Puja vacation I have went to the mountains for the first time in my life that is also with my motorcycle. I am sharing my purest experience with all.

We started from Madhyamgram on the Auspicious day of Mahapanchami of Durga Puja our destination was Darjeeling via Kurseong. It was a 4days trip. After starting from Madhyamgram our first stop was near Baharampur to refuel, then we stopped near Farakka for Breakfast, the food was home like & the price was under budget. Next we stopped at Malda to meet a very close friend of mine. After that we stopped at Raiganj to get some water then we had our lunch near Purnia More (a dhaba type restaurant beside Raj Darbar restaurant), food here was also good (except the quality of rice was average). Then we stopped directly after entering Siliguri, we stayed here for the night at a Homestay named Ushashee Amidst Nature, this place was neat & clean but behaviour of one staff was not very friendly, he was in drunken state misbehaved with me & it disrupted my peace of mind.

The next day we started from Siliguri & took the Hill cart road towards Sylvan Homestay Kurseong. We were surrounded by tea gardens & toy train lines. On the way our first stop was Tindharay View Point, the surrounding was very splendid to watch and this place is also a workshop for The Himalayan Railways. Our second spot was Paglajhora, this is a waterfall on the hill cart road. This place was also very much splendid. There was a food cart just beside the waterfall where you can have Momo, Maggie etc. We had some veg Momos there. Next we stopped at Netaji Museum, Netaji Subhas Chamdra Bose was under house arrest in this bunglow but unfortunately this place was closed due to Puja vacation. When we were at the museum we get a call from the Homestay owner asking our time of arrival & after knowing our location he suggested us to take the way to Hanuman Top then go to the Homestay through the same road as this road is less crowded & we also get to see the mighty Hanumanji 🙏🏾. Then finally we reached the Sylvan Homestay the last one Kilometre of this road to the Homestay was very bad to drive however we reached there safely.

Here we are ending the first part, in the next part we will visit the Scary House , Dowhill School , Dowhill forest , Chimney , Darjeeling Mangalam Homestay , Mahakal Temple , Mahakal Market, Mini Skywalk , Darjeeling Zoo , Dali Monastry etc.
