If you've seen any of my videos, you'll know that this road standard here is exceptional. E39 is the coastal highway of Western Norway, connecting Trondheim, Ålesund, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand - and it continues in Denmark. This stretch is just north of Bergen.
There's been exceptionally little snow this year, but a stable and cold winter has rendered the landscape icy cold nonetheless. A serene drive.
