Round 2 at the NXXT Tour event at Alaqua Country Club was a rollercoaster.
I started the day on fire — four under through 11 holes and feeling completely in control. Then… I kind of got shot in the foot and made a triple. And yeah, that’s never fun.
But here’s the part I’m proud of: I didn’t spiral.
I bounced back with a birdie on the short par five right after, and it honestly steadied everything. Finished strong with a great birdie on 18, rolling in a long putt on the par three to secure a 1-under round.
Momentum. Reset. Response.
That’s tournament golf.
