💼 Major Bids on GeM

✅ Aravali Power Company Private Limited (APCPL) placed a ₹1,024 Cr Agro Biomass contract via GeM.

✅ Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) placed a ₹6,680 Cr contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for Next Generation Corvettes.

✅ Canara Bank placed a ₹142 Cr order for hiring 500 Cash Vans across five zones (PAN India) for 3 years.

✅ Commissionerate of Agriculture, Maharashtra placed a ₹100 Cr order for procurement of 13,275 Entry & Mid-Level Laptop–Notebook (Q2) units.

✅ Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) awarded a ₹262 Cr contract for Automotive Diesel Fuel.

✅ Coal India Limited (CIL) placed a ₹5,000 Cr diesel procurement contract with Oil CPSUs (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL), marking the highest-ever single product bid on GeM.

A GeM delegation led by Smt. Nishtha Upadhyaya, ACEO & CFO, engaged with senior leadership of ITBP, SSB and CISF to strengthen alignment of MHA buyers with GeM initiatives.

Key focus areas included category sanitisation, capacity building, streamlined procurement processes, effective issue resolution, and enhanced buyer support in the upcoming GeM 2.0 ecosystem.

The leadership acknowledged GeM’s efforts in driving procurement efficiency and strengthening adoption across MHA organisations.
