Elaborate arrangements were in place for TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao’s election meetings in erstwhile Adilabad district on Thursday. This will be his second visit to Adilabad. He had participated in similar meetings in Khanapur, Ichoda, Nirmal and Mudhole on November 22.

Forest Minister and TRS candidate Jogu Ramanna said Rao’s meeting would be held at DIET ground in Adilabad and he would arrive at the venue at 11.30 am. He urged people of the constituency to make the meeting a grand success by attending in large numbers.

The Chief Minister will address five meetings — at SPM ground of Kaghaznagar town, near Premala Garden in Asifabad, at Tilak Stadium of Bellampalli, SCCL ground in Mandamarri town and at an open land near the new Collectorate complex on the outskirts of Mancherial town from 12.15 to 3.30 pm. He will later leave for Ramagundam for addressing another election rally at 4 pm.

The TRS candidates K Konappa for Sirpur (T), Kova Laxmi (Asifabad), Durgam Chinnaiah (Bellampalli) Balka Suman (Chennur) and N Diwakar Rao (Mancherial), inspected helipads and arrangements on Wednesday.
