In this video, I share about Japan’s Valentine’s culture, how I made a homemade terrine chocolate, and also talk a bit about my experiences with dating.
By the way, in Japan, men who work in offices are called “salarymen,” while women are referred to as “OL” (office ladies).
Terrine Chocolate Recipe 🍫
Ingredients
・Meiji Black Chocolate: 3 bars
・Unsalted Butter: 110g
・Granulated Sugar: 50g
Instructions
1. Chop the chocolate and butter, then melt them together in a double boiler.
2. Mix in the granulated sugar.
3. Beat the eggs and add them gradually (in 2–3 batches) into the chocolate mixture.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) while doing this.
4. Strain the mixture and pour it into a baking container.
5. Once the oven is preheated, bake at 170°C (338°F) for 25 minutes.
6. Let it cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving.
