How to assemble top end of vire 7 (6&12 simiar) hp marine engine.
Piston rings
Cylinder
Little end pin, bearing, washers, circlips
Gasket
Sequence
After filming I realise it's best insert pin from front as i demonstrated, because circlip positioning needs viewing and doing from front (in bath restricted rear access, use mirror for washer centralisation using screwdriver etc)
This was a 'military spec' engine ordered november 2024, castings cleaning and stainless additions a lot more work and quality than 'eco' builds.
Hope you like the extra care. This engine will after testing , be cleaned and topcoated with more 2 -pack epoxy finish, so excuse the building finish, it's temporary.
