The Confined Space Rescue Technician course preview highlights the key components of our course.
The Confined Space Rescue Technician course is a 32 hour course designed for the rescue professional who has previously attended Rope Rescue and Confined Space Operations as well as Hazardous Materials Operations. Students will gain advanced knowledge for rescue rigging, confined space entry and rescue procedures, as well as an understanding of the interface between hazardous materials and the confined space rescue scene.
This course exceeds NFPA 1670 objectives and focuses on advanced rescue techniques as well as implementation of the most advanced rescue equipment available. Students attending will also receive an NFPA Confined Space Technician certificate of attendance from the International Technical Rescue Association (ITRA).
