I've been on such a DMR kick as of late with the new one added with season 2 that I've kind of neglected some of the other weapons that I should be trying to level up. The DRS-IAR "machine gun" is one of those such weapons. It has a good rate of fire to compete up close when taken by surprise, very controllable out to mid-range and beyond when fired in short bursts, and because it's technically an LMG (even though it behaves more like a slow handling AR) its damage falloff curve is not as severe as it is with some of the ARs on offer. It is the ideal aggressive LMG in BF6 for attacking Breakthrough objectives and locking them down, because you're not having to deal with a belt fed reload that could either get you killed, or buy the enemy enough time to retake the objective from your line of sight.
