Exercise MILAN 2026, India's premier multilateral maritime exercise, concluded with a closing ceremony onboard INS Vikrant. It saw participation from over 70 countries, including 42 ships, submarines, and 29 aircraft. The exercise aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, enhancing India’s role in regional security. With its two phases Harbour and Sea, MILAN 2026 improved interoperability and readiness of naval forces, demonstrating India’s leadership in promoting a free, open, and inclusive maritime order.
