I'VE BROKEN MADDEN16 !!!
Honestly, running it to the outside is a no brainier against the right defense, but the way the 2016 game mechanics work, you can run it to the outside, every time. When you take it to the sideline the defensive AI run downfield in order to gain ground on you, if your RB is fast enough (~90 speed) you can outrun them when they do this nearly every time.
Good XP farm on regular difficulty. Enjoy!
