I’m the car in front.
For some context, this was my first race ever with this car/track combo, after only ~5 minutes of practice. I was planning on just keeping it safe for the first part of the race until I understood the limits better, but then this guy started applying major pressure on only lap 2, so I ended up having to push hard much sooner than I was prepared for... which basically meant that I kept missing my braking points, and I could barely find an apex to save my life. Lol.
Despite my sloppy driving, this guy and I still had really good pace. We were consistently lapping in the low 1:33’s, and we stayed within 0.5 seconds of one other for 15 of the 19 laps.
