SKF Aerospace produces turbine bearings using Fastems RoboFMS and MMS (Manufacturing Management Software). System includes turning machines and 5-axis mill-turning machines. Parts are also washed and marked by the system and delivered to AGV for assemly and shipping.
The system has become a "lighthouse project" for SKF in similar manufacturing challenges with high variation of parts.
