Havit Mira Pro KB884L - Throwback to the Early Days of Mech Keyboards – Now with a Screen!

This board kind of brings back memories of the RK era, but the price is surprisingly good considering it comes with a multifunctional TFT screen. The build quality is solid, and it's easy to mod, with clips holding everything together. Disassembling it isn’t as tough as some other brands out there.

The plate feels sturdy, but the absurd amount of screws needs to go! Which you may be able to get away with not putting them back on, the switches should be enough to hold everything in place!

It’s a south-facing board, but the keycaps are shine-through and north-facing - both good and bad with the plus side being no interference with older keycap molds or short pole switches. But, the RGB lighting isn’t as bright or clean because the light is coming from underneath instead of the top, so the letters don’t shine that well.

The switches I got are linears, similar to stock reds used on most budget boards nowadays (TBH, most budget boards use their own switches now, and come pre-lubed), but honestly, I don’t think they justify the price given what else is out there these days - just guessing but might be that the focus was more on creating a keeb with good display screen.

The software’s pretty solid, and the keycaps feel thick, probably ABS. It comes with EVA foam for the plate and a squishier sponge-like foam for the case. Out of the box, it doesn’t sound hollow, but once I modded it, the sound was a lot better. The stabilizers could use some work, though—they felt a bit mushy, so I had to redo them.

Overall, for P2,000 (around $40), kind of good for the regular consumer. For my more hardcore keyboardists out there, you know you have better options which you can go for (IF PRICE ISN'T AN ISSUE)!
