This is the second video of the process of building the greenhouse on our ranch in SE Arizona on our ranch.
This video will show step by step what was done to build our greenhouse continuing from where we left off in the first video in which we built our foundation.
In this installment/video we do the framing, add three windows, the door and the roof frame. I work with four other guys that are seasoned carpenters to build the walls, build the roof frame, add the windows, add a door, add plywood to the north wall and secure the structure to the foundation built in the first video.
If you have any questions about this second phase feel free to comment below.
In a future video we'll show the process of adding the polycarbonate panels and the interior work of the structure.
Main tools used:
shovel/wheelbarrow (for mixing concrete)
Compressor with nail guns (regular and finishing nails)
ladders
chop saw, skilsaw, table saw
hammers
drill (aka screw gun)
measuring tapes
chalk line
saw horses
C clamps
levels (2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft, 6 ft and small)
We used standard 8" x 8" x 16" cinder block (72 blocks for the two rows total).
