Virgin Australia has extended its trial program allowing pets to travel in the cabin with their owners on domestic flights. More than 300 dogs and cats flew between Melbourne and the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast over the festive period. The extension comes due to higher than expected demand, with additional routes to be added in the coming months.
