Nuraghi are megalithic stone towers built between roughly 1600 and 1200 BCE, unique to Sardinia and found nowhere else in the world.

Nuraghe Orgono is especially fascinating because it shows the evolution of nuragic architecture – from an earlier corridor-type structure to a later tholos tower, all wrapped in a single monument you can still walk around today.
