Nonetheless, it's always stayed true to its punk rock roots, containing messages of non-conformity and resistance from the beginning up to recently. As it took the form of nardcore, it combined a skate punk style into its hardcore heart and played a part in pioneering the skate punk genre. The band had humble beginnings of playing in peoples backyards and now tours globally. Luckily, they landed in Thunder Bay at Cinema 5 Skatepark on their punk rock pilgrimage, bringing back memories for oldheads and creating new ones for the youngsters. Dennis Jagard, the only remaining original band member, was kind enough to call for an interview with Abigail Heron to talk about all things punk: music, politics and people. He provided insight into his extensive career, offered advice, and told many stories.
