Angelov finished Day 5 with a stack of 11,500,000 to take over the pole position from Rania Nasreddine, who bagged 7,900,000. Nasreddine may become the first female to win an EPT Main Event title since Victoria Coren-Mitchell claimed her second title at EPT Sanremo 2014.

Jovan Kenjic is in third place, looking to capture the first EPT Main Event trophy for Serbia. PSPC finalist Niclas Thumm, Jonathan Pastore, Derk van Luijk, and Jonathan Guedes are all short-stacked, playing under 25 big blinds.

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is a series of poker tournaments and was founded in 2004 by John Duthie, winner of the inaugural Poker Million tournament. The second EPT of this year is presented by Monte-Carlo Casino, in Monaco. Between April 28th and May 4th, 2024, the tournament is streamed on the channel, from the FPS and SHR final tables until the end of the Main Event.
