What channel strip can give you extra harmonic content? All of them? Maybe, but I like the T-RackS British Console currently. I think it's an SSL emulation. Guess what I didn't use much of at all - COMPRESSORS! Wow, weird. Sure, I used a bus compressor, but distorted guitar doesn't really need a compressor in my opinion for these latest songs.
The soft focus is because of the danged manual lens! The hazards of recording by myself
