The RFC-6349 is a recent test methodology to test TCP throughput. This method is getting popular and complements the service turn-up of Ethernet services with RFC-2544 and Y.1564 testing. Together, these tests provide Internet Service Providers(ISP) full testing coverage of UDP and TCP type of services.
RFC 6349 based ExpertTCP™ is an optional module with GL's PacketExpert™ 1G, a quad port tester for 1 Gbps Ethernet/IP Networks and PacketExpert™ 10G, a dual port Tester for 10 Gbps/1 Gbps Ethernet/IP networks.
