To live chat questions I missed during the live:
💝 Happy Soul 님: If you want to earn a BA degree in Korean, I'd say go for it of course! See there are universities that have Korean majors first of all.
💝 @Sizzal Soni 님: When looking up a Korean word in the dictionary (like Naver), there should be a speaker icon you can click, and you can hear the pronunciation!
💝 Santi Santosa 님: Words around the vocab you search are synonyms and antonyms. 유의어 = synonym, 반의어 = antonym
💝 Ana Lee 님: I will make a lesson about writing, but for now, use the ~다 ending when writing. See below for the video about 'plain speech level' and try to write in that level!
💝 Edward Kim 님: 네(your) sounds like 니 - it's technically incorrect way to pronounce it but EVERYONE does!!! 네 sounds like 내(my), so it's hard to distinguish the two with the original correct pronunciation. That may be why.
💝 Nail Art Guy 님: 고마워요 if you are close to one another, around similar age or to younger people to be more casual. 고맙습니다 to someone higher and you need to be more formal and respectful. To me, you can use whatever you feel like! :) 저한테는 둘 다 괜찮아요!
💝 nerisayg 님: I recommend you study more before applying for Master's, especially if you want to teach the language. Also look into scholarships and see if there are resources you can use too!
It was so great to "meet" all of you for the first time, and I will be back with actual live classes regularly!!!
