Beautiful Bert and the Luscious Ones - S/T 7 Inch on Beer City Records 1995 - Punk Shock

Описание: Beautiful Bert and the Luscious Ones were a great, raunchy punk band from Kenosha, WI. Bert had a massive personality and could be quite "shocking" on stage, as well as in real life. I first heard of Bert in the late 80's/early 90's while he was making his rounds, touring with a band known as "The Crotch Crickets." I met Bert at a show in Kenosha, WI in 1996. I used to get calls from Bert in the late 90's, late at night along with his cohorts at times, including "Granny Punk." Only had the pleasure of meeting him twice in person when doing a couple gigs with my old band, Very Metal.

Beer City Records was AND STILL IS an amazing label out of Milwaukee, WI. They have a very prolific catalog of releases from some of the worlds best (and often overlooked) Punk, Hardcore and Crossover. Possibly no other label released so many bands from the Midwest that otherwise may not have ever been heard. This 7 Inch is one of my favorites on the label. With permission granted directly from Beer City Records, I will soon be posting MORE stuff from the Beer City catalog in the future, as I own must of their 7 Inches and LPs.
