On November 7th 2023, we hosted the official award ceremony for the Primary Engineer MacRobert Medal at One Birdcage Walk, London. The award recognises the achievements of the people who have turned the ideas of school pupils into reality through the creation of a prototype.
This award ceremony also saw the official launch of the 10th Anniversary Report, a piece of research commissioned by Primary Engineer to look at the impact of engaging school pupils through engineering for over a decade.
Alongside this report we launched our 10th Anniversary Book which showcases hundreds of the ideas we have seen over the years - ideas that will make you laugh, cry and ask, ‘Why does this not exist?'.
We opened the award ceremony with a keynote speech from the CEO and Founder of Primary Engineer, Dr Susan Scurlock MBE, before we were joined on stage by some special guests to hand out the awards.
