This heat shrink blows the little precut pieces out of the water. It’s thicker stronger more durable adhesive lined so it’s actually watertight and seals your connections and soldering extremely well against the elements are use the spool for all the wiring in my camper van as well as wiring and accessories into a friends van and still have a ton of it left. I love that you don’t waste any of the pieces because you can cut off exactly how much you need unlike trimming off a half inch here and there from the pre-cut pieces that you don’t have to throw away. It also shrinks down quite a bit, the spool I have is a 3 to 1 shrink ratio, but they also have a 4 to 1 so we can cover a large variety of sizes and gauge of wire. A spool like this is excellent to keep in the toolbox if you’re a hobbyist or DIY person who works on any kind of DC wiring from cars and automotive to hobbies, toys, LED lighting, etc.
